IAIP Overview


BENEFITS

Members, associates and fellows will benefit from peer-reviewed election to a professional body, in recognition of their academic and/or professional role.
In participating in the association, members can benefit from the following:

Communication
  • Access to members’ listings, profiles and contact details.
  • 20% reduction on cost of IAIP conferences.
  • Access to online communication networks, including scheduled debates with leading academics.
  • Regular newsletter and IAIP events.

Proposed resources
  • Access to relevant publications (including free downloads and access to in-house archives).
  • Reduced subscription to ‘The Journal of Investigative Psychology and Offender Profiling’.
  • Free software (e.g. Dragnet).
  • Audio/visual downloads from relevant lectures, seminars and conference presentations.
  • Relevant conference updates and job listings.
  • Support for research - IAIP may host or distribute research materials to consenting IAIP members.
These benefits will be in place by the time of the official IAIP launch April 6th 2006.


FEES AND APPLICATIONS

There is an annual membership fee for all members. Members will not be asked to make payment until the IAIP has been launched officially. Revenue raised by membership fees will be used to support and develop members’ services, as well as to promote and implement the aims of the IAIP.

Student: £25 pa;
Full membership: £50 pa;
Associate: £60 pa;
Fellow: £70 pa
